Maxwell Underground Mine

Maxwell Underground Mine is an underground operation that produces high quality metallurgical coal with at least 75% capable of being used to make steel with the balance suitable for use in new-generation High Efficiency, Low Emissions (HELE) power generators. Construction of the mine began in May 2022 and first coal was produced in March 2023.

Maxwell Solar Farm

The Maxwell Solar Farm is approved solar farm located on rehabilitated land within the Maxwell Infrastructure site south of Muswellbrook. The solar farm will have the capability to be expanded to approximately 100 megawatt (MW) so generating more than 200 gigawatt hours, providing enough energy to power greater than 30,000 local homes.
