We are thrilled to celebrate a significant milestone the Muswellbrook South Public School’s Green Team has achieved: the first harvest from the MSPS Orchard! This journey began with the collaborative efforts of our Malabar Resources team of Teagan and Jess, who joined forces with the students and staff to plant two flower gardens and 10 fruit trees.

Today, we are delighted to see the vision come to fruition.

The sight of students picking and enjoying their first mandarins was heartwarming. It is rewarding to see how our joint efforts have beautified the school grounds and provided the students with a unique, hands-on learning experience. This project has offered the students invaluable lessons about the environment, the importance of sustainable practices, and the rewards of nurturing and harvesting their own food.

We are proud of our partnership with MSPS and the success of the Green Team. This achievement shows the power of community and corporate collaboration in creating lasting positive change. A big thank you to everyone involved—your dedication and hard work have made this project a reality.
