Maxwell Solar Farm

Overview

Malabar is continually looking at ways we can reduce our emissions and our impact on the local environment. We are developing the Maxwell Solar Farm which is:

  • an approved 25 megawatt Solar Farm, which will be located on rehabilitated land within the Maxwell Infrastructure site 
  • located in the NSW Government’s designated Hunter-Central Coast Renewable Energy Zone.

Key Benefits

  • The Maxwell Solar Farm is an approved 25 megawatt (MW) solar farm, which will be located on rehabilitated land within the Maxwell Infrastructure site. 
  • The solar farm will provide 50 jobs for the local area during construction and will generate more than 60 gigawatt hours annually, providing enough energy to power about around 10,000 local homes.
