Edderton Solar Farm

Malabar is continually looking at ways we can reduce our emissions and our impact on the local environment. Our strategies and projects include:

• the Edderton Solar Farm (up to 350MW) and is still in the initial planning stages and is currently being “right sized”.
• “Grid-scale” energy storage
• the approved 25MW Maxwell Solar Farm
• a c. 40KW solar array has been installed at our Merton Vineyard and Winery.

• We are continuing to work to consider options to increase renewable generation and the potential for battery storage, particularly as the NSW Government has recently designated the HunterCentral Coast a Renewable Energy Zone.
