Last month, Blackroo Community Indigenous Corporation opened its Community Haven Building. Blackroo Community is an amazing organisation run entirely by dedicated volunteers who have been supporting both Indigenous and non-Indigenous members of our local community for the past 3 years. Malabar attended the opening of the new facility and heard that they were in desperate need of kids pyjamas and underwear for local families doing it tough this winter.
To help out, Malabar provided over 30 new pairs of pyjamas and 20 packs of underwear in a range of all sizes. The recent donation drive is just one of the many initiatives that Blackroo Community undertake to ensure all children have the basics they need for a comfortable life. We’re honoured to support Blackroo Community and their tireless efforts to make a positive impact.
