The Malabar Resources team was proud to be part of the Singleton Careers Dinner, held last night at the Singleton Civic Centre. Hosted by NSW Mining, the event brought together students, parents, career advisers and local employers for an evening focused on the many exciting career opportunities within the mining industry.

For us, it was a fantastic chance to engage with the community, answer questions and share what it’s like to be part of the Malabar team. We especially enjoyed talking about our Maxwell Underground Mine—highlighting the variety of roles available in operations, trades, engineering and more.

These kinds of events are an important part of how we support the future of mining in the Upper Hunter. They give students a real-world look at what’s possible and the many pathways into a rewarding career in resources.

A big thank you to everyone who came by to chat with us, and to NSW Mining for organising such a well-run and inspiring evening. We’re excited about the future and even more excited to see the next generation of mining professionals stepping forward.
