Malabar Resources is inviting the Upper Hunter community to spend a Saturday with us. Our Community & Family Day will be held at Merton Vineyard, Denman, on Saturday 31 October from 10am to 2pm.
It’s a chance to bring the family, meet the people behind Maxwell Underground, and enjoy a relaxed day out with your neighbours.
Something for everyone
The day is built around families, with plenty to keep kids of all ages busy:
- Petting zoo
- Face painting
- Kids craft
- Jumping castle
- Sausage sizzle
Merton Vineyard’s open grounds make it easy to settle in for the day, whether you’re chasing little ones between activities or catching up over lunch.
Go behind the scenes at Maxwell Underground
For anyone who has wondered what happens at the mine, we’re running bus tours of Maxwell Underground throughout the day. The tours give visitors a close-up look at the operation and the work our team does every day.
Tour spaces are limited, so book yours when you register.
Why we’re doing it
Maxwell Underground is part of the Upper Hunter, and many of our people live, work and raise their families here. Community & Family Day is a way to open our doors, say thank you to our neighbours, and show what we do.
