The Malabar Resources team was privileged to attend the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) inaugural International Women’s Day (IWD) Lunch in the Hunter Valley on Friday, 14 March 2025. The event, held at the Rydges Resort in Lovedale, was a celebration of women’s contributions to the mining sector and a platform for fostering discussions on diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The lunch featured an inspiring keynote address by Fiona Robertson AM, a distinguished non-executive director with over 45 years of experience in corporate finance and resources. Fiona’s extensive career, encompassing exploration, development, and operational projects across various continents, provided invaluable insights into leadership and the evolving role of women in mining. Following the keynote, a dynamic panel discussion, moderated by Kate Bevan, delved into innovative strategies to champion diversity and inclusion within the industry.

Malabar Resources is proud to support and participate in initiatives that promote diversity and inclusion within the mining industry, reinforcing our commitment to fostering a workplace culture where all individuals can thrive.
